Today

Today both Fred and I got up very early–6 am for me and earlier for him and we both went back to bed a couple of hours later. I am always sorry when I do that because it really messes up my day. When I got sleepy what I should have done , and what I briefly thought of doing was to go out for a walk. Instead I went back to bed for two-and-a-half hours and spent the rest of the day feeling groggy.

At one o’clock I went to a local park for the local art class I am taking. This is not the college-level drawing class which starts next week. Usually I walk over to this park but I took my car since I had so much to carry. It was okay. I got something done but I can’t say I was pleased with it. The weather was gorgeous — warm and sunny but with a cool breeze…

Tomorrow I go for a massage. I usually go Sundays but she had to make a change this week.

Until later..

I love crawling back into bed. I don’t see any harm in it as long as it isn’t everyday.

I think I need to crawl back into bed, but first I have to go to work for 8 hours. 🙂

Forgot to mention the Christmas Tree Shops has a great bargain display or art supplies. Paints, canvas (really cheap) and brushes, books, etc.

The days when I wake up and feel rested (rare these days) and I get to luxuriate for a while are so good.

My boss keeps urging me and my boyfriend to get massages. I feel like a prude.

I went for a nap yesterday. It was lovely!

ryn: I graduate in December 2006 and i want to teach upper elementary, probably 4th or 5th from what I’ve seen from being in classrooms.

That art class sounds like fun 🙂

ryn – I loved the Tate. It is always cool for me to see actual artworks that I had only seen in books and stuff. There was one Pollack that I really liked, oddly enough. It looked like a bunch of dancers!
