Home from the Dance Class

I have just got back from the jazz dancing class. One of the six women hurt her knee at home and can’t do this any more so she sent her 10 year old daughter in her place! That child had to be shown only one time and she got it! She is so cute and so clever. When the instructor asked her if she was going to come next week we all said, "Yes! Yes! Please DO come!" So she is going to dance with us next week. I did much better this week as a couple of times things actually fell into place! But at least one time, they didn’t.  We learned a new step/pattern today in which it is vital that one starts on the right foot! So, wanna guess who kept starting on her left foot? {Feel free to insert a wide-eyed innocent look in here}

Tomorrow I am meeting our own Dagnabbit the Dorm Goddess for tea and she is kindly giving me a couple? of King Arthur flour containers she wants to get rid of at the admirably coincidental time that I want to acquire a couple more! Freecycle at its very best. Talking of Freecycle, a college student asked if anyone had a woman’s bike helmet to give away. I have two so I said she could have my white one. She responded by giving me directions on how to deliver it to her!   I think NOT, chickie! If you want it, you come and get it! I told her I did not deliver and gave her directions how to get here. I told her to tell me the day she would be coming and I would put it on the front door step for her so she could get it at her convenience. I have heard no more from her…

Well, I am feeling better having rested a bit. I went out for a 40 minute walk this morning and walked to and from the dance class so I think I have had my exercise for the day. The lesson is 60 minutes and I would say that we were actually moving to a fast beat for a good 45 of those minutes. Fortunately, the walk home is all downhill so, with the aid of a little cheerful IPod Shuffle music, I did quite well. It was just beginning to rain as I started home and since the sun was also out, there was a very nice rainbow…

Until later..

Girl, you make me feel lazy in comparison!

RYN: That’s what I started doing and I’ve reached my limit after about 2 10 minute walks. I know its still soon after that surgery, but still… I guess even a little bit will help. 🙂 And she wanted YOU to deliver it? Good Golly, some people have the nerve!

as usual, you make me feel strong with your notes. THank you for that 🙂

So you’re left-footed are you? Are you left-handed too??? LOL

Three cheers for the ten-year-old, and how wonderful that everyone was happy to have her there! I chuckled over your description of your dancing troubles; this is how I’d be, if I could even get that far along! Here’s wishing you another lovely day. hugs, Weesprite

I just wrote a sorry-for-myself entry. Should have come here first for some inspiration so I’d feel GOOD. Thanks. Still means I have to get moving…. Maybe I need to take a class in something.

Do you have other Apple items other than the iPod?
