Morning Activities

This is a lovely morning. The sun is shining and it is cool. AND–despite the jazzercise class last night, I am NOT stiff and sore! I was really sure I would be because I was feeling muscles  in my butt aching as I was walking home last night  so I was sure they would be hurting this morning. But they aren’t so I am very chuffed about that.

I got up, had a shower, washed my hair, got dressed and put the box of plastic packing peanuts outside to be picked up all before 9 am . Fred has just finished making a large pot of his Famous Oatmeal and in about 5 minutes I am going to eat a bowl full. Then I will go for a walk. Yesterday I was horrified to discover both my iPods needed their batteries recharging but today I have music!

The rest of the day will go like this:

  • pack a lunch
  • walk up to the school to read with Nick
  • find a rye-bread recipe and maybe make it. If not, make it tomorrow. {Do I have caraway seeds?}
  • find a skirt to wear for the dancing tonight. Actually, I may not have a single skirt left since I gave away all my bigger-sized clothes but I will look.
  • make sure I have all the ingredients for gingerbread. Possibly make some–it not,  make it tomorrow.
  • go for a second walk possibly with my camera. There are some flowering trees just coming into bud on the corner…

Have I mentioned it is a lovely day?

Until later….

It’s always nice to know that you are in better shape than you thought you were, isn’t it?

Wow – that is great news that you aren’t sore or stiff this morning. I do not own a skirt or dress anymore.

RYN: I well remember one day after being depressed for some time, realising I had read a paragraph in a magazine for the first time in ages – such a small thing but I knew then I was on the road to getting back to normal.

Hope you enjoy your line dancing tonight – if it’s proper line dancing it should be a blast. Nikki & I went to a class one year & thoroughly enjoyed it. Apologies if you’ve already explained this in your diary but how did you get into the mentoring thing?

I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂
