A Quick Wednesday Listing

A quick run-down of the day so far:

  • took Fred out to pick up his car
  • filled my car with gas on the way back
  • discovered when I got home that my pedometer was missing from my shoe and I have no idea when I lost it. It is not in my car! {Insert deep sigh}
  • redid Fred’s medication list, made it up-to-date and printed out a small copy for him to put in his wallet and a large copy to take to his kidney doctor {which is where he is now}
  • took off the gauze wrapping and rewrapped his finger with Bactin {an antiseptic}, a sterile dressing and tape. He then inserted his finger into the splint we were given which will stop him moving the finger and make it less likely that the stitches may burst open.
  • opened the package from a wonderful OD friend and took out the upright vacuum she sent me. My back loves it and the carpets look very nice!
  • offered the packing peanuts from the vacuum cleaner shipping box on our local FreeCycle.
  • washed dishes and tidied the kitchen
  • made a quick trip to the grocery store  {“I just need to get some salad greens” } and came home having spent a little over $30!

Still to do:

  • get Fred’s agreement {one more time} to list his over-20-years-old-but-still-works canister vacuum cleaner {that kills my back} on our local Freecycle.
  • list it
  • walk to the drug store to get Fred’s medication
  • decide what I am going to wear to the first jazzercise class this evening.
  • take my library books back and get something else. {This may be relegated to tomorrow.}

Until later…
