Monday Evening

So, Fred and I sucessfully took his car in to be worked on and made it back. Whenever I go somewhere new sucessfully, I wonder why I stress myself so much about things like this. I don’t know how long it will take before his car is ready but when it is, I will take him out there again and he will drive it back.

Now, tomorrow I intend to go out to the lab at the health center very early and give the phlebotomists some of my blood for a cholesteral check. I have the paperwork although it does have coffee stains on it! I have to go in fasting so I will go right after I get up tomorrow morning. Fred usually waits until around 1 pm before he goes in to get blood drawn because he has found that the lab is not busy then and in most cases he is in and out very quickly. I can’t go fasting for that length of time. My knees get weak and I get very irritable if I let myself get hungry so I am going early and if I have to wait, I have to wait. I will take a book and my music. Unless I have to wait a very long time, I should be home in time to get something to eat before I go to tutor Robin again at 11 am. In the afternoon, I really need to go buy myself some leggings so I have something to wear for the first jazzercize class on Wednesday evening. I gave away all the ones I had because they were all size 18/20 and I am now a size 14. {short pause for back-patting!}

Poor Fred has some kind of intestinal upset this afternoon and evening complete with stomach cramps and emergency trips to the bathroom. But, looking on the bright side, no throwing up–as yet!

Until later…

Hope he feels better soon.

Some days are best measured by the immeasurable lack of vomit. (It sounded funny in my head.)

Yahhhhh for size 14!!!!

I hope Fred and his car are better soon. Give yourself lots of pats on the back! You deserve them 🙂

May 2, 2005

Hope he gets well!

May 2, 2005

Consider your back patted. 🙂

May 2, 2005

Oh yikes! You reminded me that I need to get blood work done tomorrow as well. Hope we both have good news (though I suspect yours will be better than mine)

That’s great about the size 14! That’s quite an achievement.

Oh I wish I had the self control to make as much bread as you do and not eat it all slathered in butter at one sitting.

Well done on the weight loss!!

That is going around that bug. We just got over it down South here. I am hoping the boys don’t get it. Just Jewel and I had it. I have to do the same thing one Saturday, go give some blood for cholestoral screening. Fun is….. I have to go early because I have to eat. I don’t drink coffee but good days start with a nice warm mug of Lipton tea, I should just say tea because it changes. I

like English breakfast tea, and Irish breakfast tea, and Earl Grey, so I should just say tea. When I can’t have my tea I am crabby. The good thing about this Saturday is Jim will be home and I won’t have to drag the kids with me. They don’t like to have to come when I have to have my blood drawn. Jewel is better about it then Cedric. Jewel used to sit in my mom’s lap when my mom went and had to

take her during the day. Cedric dosen’t like it. He is the one who wants to be the Science and math teacher. He is very sweet I think he would be good. That is funny that your boys look alike and the age difference. I always thought when I had Peec so young that I would end up having one around fourty, but right now I am happy with the three. I do love to see others babies though.
