Stuff—just Stuff
- I have finally gotten round to reading what the Diary Master posted while I was gone and this new toolbar looks interesting.
- While I was out walking this morning, I thought of all sorts of fascinating things I wanted to write about. Here I am now with nary a thought in my head!
- One thing I have noticed since my eyes were fixed { for new readers, I had cataracts removed and implants inserted } is that I now longer have to have the Tools/View/Text Size set at large or largest which, since I have had severe myopia for 64 years, is amazing to me.
- Floating around in my head right now are some ideas about child raising I learned over the course of the years I raised my two sons. I may write about this {or not.}
- I can say that although once I get out and start walking I do enjoy it, many times I am encouraged to go out by the thought of listening to my music. Viva my iPod!
- This morning while I was out, I was looking for signs of spring that I could photograph when I go out this afternoon. Apart from the banks of dirty snow getting smaller, {NOT an esthetically pleasing sight} I found nothing…
- I have temorarily “lost” the disk I need to use to get my desktop computer {Win 98 SE} to read from the Dazzle card reader. I love it that I can plug the reader into the laptop {which has XP} and I can see the pictures immediately with no driver. I am almost sure that I didn’t leave the disk at my son’s house.
- Hmmm, the smileys are not stopped by the popup blocker!
- We seem to have lost the horizontal line on the toolbar.
- This horizontal line below was done by clicking the Source button on the bar and inserting the line via HTML. I am surprised and pleased that I remembered the tag actually!
Things to do today:
- make gingerbread
- make a loaf of brown bread
- wash the dishes
- look for that missing disk
- mop the kitchen floor a little better than I did yesterday
Until later…
🙂 I always think of many things to write about, then draw a blank when I sit down.

Yes, I had to figure out that line-thingy the hard way, too. And you can’t just pop a little hr into your text as you type it, because the editor turns it into just a pair of pointy braces and ‘hr’. Grrrr. But in the grand scheme of things, it’s not really such a big deal… Good to have you back. Here’s hoping you see a flower blooming in the snow on your next walk…

Everyone’s mentioning a difference in the toolbar, but I can’t see any difference! (Maybe my eyeballs need fixin??) It will be nice when the dirty snowbanks melt, and fresh green grass and flowers are there for the picture-taking! Here is wishing you a wonderful rest-of-the-day! hugs, Weesprite

RYN: I’ve just had more people than not tell stories of how cortizone either doesn’t work at all, or fades within months. I am absolutely terrified of needles, so going through the procedure would be hellish at best. So I’d rather not go through that just to have it fade in months 🙂 Basically I’m a big pansy 😉

You know, I wouldn’t trade my young OD friends for the world, but it is deeply satisfying to read the thoughts of a happy person who knows what her life is about and isn’t dealing with with the issues that are inherent in being 20 years old. Welcome home.

I agree that the horizontal line is a critical tool! Good job remembering! Well, if the snow banks are shrinking, it means the flowers and green shoots will be appearing soon! I look forward to your pictures of spring!

I love that you have an iPod. I just got one too, and they are the greatest thing since sliced bread! (Although, I’d have to try your bread to be sure.) hehe.
