Monday

I am so tired I can hardly think straight. I went for a walk about 30 minutes ago and half way to the little park, I turned around and came back home. Usually when I start out walking in the afternoon, I don’t feel full of pep but by the time I get a little way down the road, I feel the energy coming back. But not today. Tomorrow, I will go for a walk very early while I still have some energy left!

What I have done today:

  • made a loaf of white bread
  • made a loaf of brown bread
  • gone to the grocery store to get more flour and to the bank to get money for the trip. {There is a branch of the bank in the grocery store.}
  • broken the timer I use for cooking {knocked it onto the floor and it died} Also broke the top of Fred’s little brown sugar container by knocking that, too, onto the floor.
  • made another trip to the store to get a timer. I forget I have clothes in the washer and dryer unless I set a timer to remind me to go downstairs and check.
  • went up and down two flights of stairs for three loads of laundry.
  • folded and put away two of those three loads of clothes. I put Fred’s on his side of the bed for him to put away since he likes them folded in a certain way.
  • sent email to my sister and to our landlords telling them all what my contact phone numbers will be if they need to get in touch with me while I am gone.
  • stressed over the fact that it is supposed to snow tomorrow when I am flying.
  • called the help line of my ISP and finally got it sorted out what my password is. I don’t like using Verizon’s net mail when I am away because I get tossed off using the library computers in the Small Town I am going to. {Actually, I get tossed off from my own computer here, too.} So while I am away, I have all my Verizon mail forwarded to Sovernet and I use their netmail site. This would work well if I could only remember my password! LOL. Anyway, the help people were very  helpful and I am all sorted out.
  • packed my suitcase except for a few last-minute things.
  • got out the clothes I am going to wear to travel tomorrow.

Hmmm, no wonder I am tired. And I am still stressing about the possibility of snow tomorrow. I have three planes with two changes. Every time I do it this way, I always think while I am travelling that next time I will pay $100 more and only have two planes and one change but then when it comes to handing over my money… LOL.

I am going from Burlington to Newark, Newark to Memphis and Memphis  to the Tiny Little Airport that is between the two cities where my sons live. {It is such a tiny little airport that last time my luggage was ticketed through to there the counter person in Burlington looked at the abbreviation, asked me where it was and said she had never heard of it!}

Until later…

I’ve flown into one of those itty bitty airports like that, once. Had to take a turbo-prop from Memphis because their runway wasn’t big enough for the smallest jet. I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip!

Have a safe trip! You have been busy, no wonder you haven’t got any energy left for walking! Hi from me, MissKitty1999. Hope you’ll read my diary sometime. Bye for now.

Well you sound well organised – hope everything goes okay tomorrow – have good trips & get there safely! Enjoy the break!

No wonder you’re tired! Hope the snow goes in the other direction–I’m trying to send you some sunshine, but there’s a lot of country between here and Vermont!

Well if planes have never heard of it, then I want to live wherever your sons live! haha! Have a good, safe trip!

I got tired from reading your list for today. I’d be tired too if I was doing all that, no wonder you stay so svelte! I really like the floral border here, so pert and lovely — we need spring in a bad way around here.

Sounds like a full day!

Have a good and a safe trip. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow. Hope it comes in that form and not snow or we will be swamped again. The temp is supposed to be up so it will likely rain.

Let yourself enjoy the moment. Don’t feel so responsible for everything. Have yourself a bit of fun. Besides, it will be warm there. What more could you want;) Bon Chance!
