Tired Tuesday
This morning I woke up at 3:30 and got up because I couldn’t sleep. Around 7 am I went back to bed and slept until 9:30. I am very tired right now at 7:30 pm but I am going to try to hold out until 10 pm. I don’t snap back as quickly as I used to do.
After I finally got up and had coffee and breakfast, I put the ingredients for a loaf in the bread machine and went to the library to help Robin. I had downloaded some parts of speech worksheets from the Internet since I had forgotten to call her and ask her what she needed. It turned out that she needed help with an essay so that is what we did. She types straight into Word but I discovered that she didn’t know how to save to a disk on the A drive. I happened to have a floppy with my name on in the back room at the library so we saved her first draft on that and I went to her apartment to make sure she could get it off the floppy and on to her machine. She gave me a hug before I left because she was so pleased to get help with that!
After this, I went home and told Fred I was going to go for a walk. There were big, fat fluffy snowflakes drifting down, but unfortunately, I was so tired, I cut the walk short and didn’t really enjoy the 20 minutes I did.
Other things I did today:
- Made an appointment to get my car State inspected on Friday morning.
- Took a HUGE box of cereal Fred brought by mistake back to the supermarket and got our money back.
- Bought an essential ingredient of my food list– Marmite
- Bought another jar of yeast.
- Took my books back to the library plus a donation of two children’s tapes thar Fred’s daughter sent us by mistake, I think.
- Wrote and mailed a thank-you letter for a very nice sweater that same daughter had sent to me from Land’s End.
Tomorrow:
- Make gingerbread–not done today
- Get pissed off if the new breadmaker isn’t delivered
- Try it out if it has!
Until later…

ryn: What a fabulous thing, to be able to purchase a good vehicle that way! It’s surprising how much we DO accomplish in a day when we list it on paper. Can kind of make you feel good, even if you DON’T get some other task done.

Glad to see you try to go for a daily walk. I find it meditative to do that.
