I haven’t left this house all day but I did walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Actually, I can’t claim the whole thirty if I was counting minutes because walking on the treadmill is more strenuous that walking outdoors and I kept stopping out of necessity to get my breath back. If I was  counting time walked, I would say about twenty minutes. But I prefer to count steps. So, this afternoon I looked at my shoe where my pedometer is usually clipped only to find it was not there.

Now, since I recorded yesterday’s steps {a mere 3000 or so} this morning and reset it and clipped it to my shoe, and since I haven’t been out all day, it has to be here in this tiny apartment, right? You would think so but although I have been looking on and off all day, no sign of it as yet! I do have two others, but this is the most accurate one and the one I bought in England. My brother-in-law and my sister both have one of the same brand and I like to think of us all stepping out and recording together! LOL

Tomorrow’s practicalities:

  • grocery shopping. {Oh, how I hate that chore. Get well soon, please, Fred!}
  • walk outside. 30 minutes in the fresh air will help me a lot AND it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow, too!
  • maybe sorting out Fred’s clothes? He needs loose tops and especially loose pants these days because of various infirmities including the long row of staples down the middle of his tummy!
  • take out the trash. I usually take it out to the appropriate bin {recyclables or non-recyclables} daily, but didn’t brave the snow at all today.

Until later…

I also dislike the grocery shopping mostly. Espically now my daughter is living back at home, my food bill has more than doubled. I can never plan a meal, as half the food is oftne missing and i have to nip to locla store to replace. It is nice here being home. Home you find your lost pedimeter Best Wishes

We only had a dusting of snow here, just enough to coat the ground, but the roads are in good shape. I can live with that. I’ve been thinking about recording my steps, what sort of pedometer do you recommend? (Or at least, where I can start looking)

I too love to shop even if only for groceries. at least that I HAVE to buy. Anything else is because I usually want, not need. Have a great evening and sleep well.

((hugs)) and hang in there. I have to do grocery shopping tomorrow too, and I don’t like it either. And I am also always losing stuff in this house, I blame it on the trolls. 🙂

Suspenders or “Braces” might be more appropriate and comfortable than a belt. 🙂 – – – –

ryn-Yes, I do like English drama. Thanks for the recommendation. I don’t watch much tv and this might sound odd, but I think I should try to catch more movies and tv shows. I am so out of it. I don’t know who most of the modern actors are. I do know who Ian Richardson is, though. 🙂

Gunther wears loose clothing for the most part because of ‘various infirmities’, a very bad hernia for one. TMI?

Are you trying to walk too fast on the treadmill?

Patrisha, oh dear, I sure hope you find your pedometer. I know I just about flip out if I can’t find mine. And then, Jesse comes along & pushes the little button & clears the steps. I told him if he does it again, I STRANGLE HIM!! Leave my damned pedometer alone! I think he got that message!! Love, Anna

I’m with YOU. I hate it too! But FL is too far away to get Amy to do it! Have a good day! Love ya! ~M

Shopping for food I really don’t mind, hauling it in and putting it away I could do with someone else doing it.

Good luck on finding your pedometer. I detest grocery shopping also.

Grocery shopping. Ew.
