Morning Thoughts

There are such a lot of things running around in my head that I need to get some of them out! These are not serious things—just thoughts..

  • I HAVE to get to the grocery store today. We won’t starve if I don’t, but we will run out of milk.  However, I do have some powdered milk which will work fine for coffee.
  • I doubt if I will get a walk outside today but we do have the treadmill and it occurs to me that I could walk and watch the last episode of “House of Cards.”
  • I watched how Justin hooked the DVD player up last night and I think I could do it if I wanted to move it all into the bedroom. The only problem is that the old television in the bedroom doesn’t have the convenient audio/video plugs at the front. However, there is a VCR attached so I could maybe route it through that. But while writing this, it also occurs to me that I can play DVDs on my laptop {which lives in the bedroom} so why do I need to move the DVD player?
  • Fred was sleeping so quietly a few minutes ago that I crept in to see if he was still alive. {He is normally a noisy sleeper talking in his sleep a lot early in the morning} Yes, he is still alive and I hear him getting up. Coffee is made!
  • It is such a nice thought that we will have no visitors today except Nikki, the visiting nurse. I enjoy company when it is here, but I savor the quiet when it is just us two…

More later…

Yes, do enjoy the quiet! I remember those days of having visitors AND nurses AND massage people AND social workers AND everyone else under the Sun coming in and out. Good to have the help and support, but STILL! Tiring!! I’m glad Fred was alive when you checked! 🙂 but sympathize with you having to go out just to get milk. Too bad convenience stores won’t deliver!! hugs, Weesprite

I enjoy the holidays but like when it’s over and things return to normal–or as normal as it can get.

You know I’m with you on the solitude…love it!

I’m with you on the quiet times. I love company but then I love the quiet. Do I have a split personality or what?

*HUGGS* Massage is good and it is supprising what you would go through to make sure you get one in, I know you needed it. LOL! I am glad you had a nice visit and the grandson turned into a nice young man, *sigh* there is always hope for my child….Although he is pure Leo and is constantly charming everyone but me. I am glad Fred is doing better. : D Have a good day!

Hey, thanks for your note! I will look for “The Secret Life of Bees” next time I go to a bookstore. I’ve heard it’s good, but never really heard what it’s about. Weesprite
