I Am Thankful For…

  1. All the great people in my life. I have two wonderful sons who have turned out to be good caring men. And then there is Fred who is a person I will be happy to spend the rest of my life with…
  2. My good health. I am actually healther now at 70 than I have been for many years. I plan on continuing this way as long as possible. After the New Year {and I will not gain weight over this holiday season as long as I continue watching portions and keep walking} I am thinking it might be a good idea to lower the portions a bit and up the walking somewhat. I am 160 pounds now. I think I would feel even better at 150.
  3. Technology. I met Fred because of the Internet and I can chat with my sister in England and my friends all over the world. And, of course, my younger son who needs to turn his IM on more often! {hint-hint! nudge-nudge J., if you are reading! LOL} I use my I-Pod at least twice a day and when I forget to recharge the battery and have to walk without it, I realize how much music adds to the daily walks. I am integrating my Palm Pilot into my life although right now it is not as essential as the I-Pod.
  4. The place I live. I really love Vermont even if it is a place of five seasons! {Spring, Mud, Summer. Fall and Winter.} I like the little town where I live because it is possible to walk pretty well anywhere I want or need to go. I like the fact that we are a ten minute drive from the largest town in Vermont and an equally short distance from good doctors and a hospital.

Until later..

I agree writing list of events is a good way on putting things down, my way takes an age, but i do love to do the writing, when i dont have a wailing bsby in background as i have now. he has just woken and sure wants to let me know
