Thanksgiving Day

I am being both lazy AND self-indulgent today! Lazy is me not going for a walk using the excuse that it is raining. {“You are made of sugar, perhaps?” queries the inner voice!} Self indulgent is me eating from Fred’s stash of malted-milk balls! {Actually, the inner voice just reminded me that too many malted-milk balls have the same effect on my intestines as too many nuts or too much corn so I am not going back for seconds!}

We have just had a phone call from one of Fred’s daughters {the laid-back one} and her very nice husband wishing us a good Thanksgiving. Then the phone rang right after that and the friend Fred invited to eat with us at 2 pm called confirming that he would meet us at the restaurant. I do like people who call and confirm!

I keep getting up and going to the window to see if it has stopped raining so it looks as if being lazy is not going to work! LOL Actually, I think I may try the treadmill for a while… Gotta work off the malted-milk balls and the Thanksgiving turkey I am planning on overeating…
