Some Things You Don’t know About Me.

I got this idea from Boots’ diary.

1. I am an inch shorter than I thought I was.

2. Even with the missing inch {which has gone to my feet, I fear} I am 5 ft 10 inches.

3. I have two sons who are, almost to the day, 21 years apart.

4. My favorite color is yellow.

5. I have three Christian names. This is not unusual in England where I was born and spent the first 30 years of my life.

6. I used to play the guitar

7. I write poetry

8. My idea of a good class is a poetry workshop.

9. I started my teaching career as an art teacher; I was a writing and reading teacher when I retired.

10. I have taught English country dances to many children.

11. I read two or three books a week.

12. I admire the Unitarian Universalists I know.

13. My fingernails are very brittle.

14. I used to be an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.

15. I eat far too much Vermont cheese.
