Right in the middle, in the bottom one? I can kinda see a face there… I should write more. I kinda lost the habit and it makes me sad to see the vast expanses of no-entry days. *sigh* xx
I do see a face, an elderly man with a mustache and a bowler hat on his head…hmmmm maybe I am the crazy one 😉

RYN: Yeah its Ian. We’re on the slippery slope of him moving out again and I am exhausted by the fact that we are having the exact-same-damned-conversations that we had this time last year…what makes it worse is that this time around he’s working two jobs so I’m having minimal contact with him for the first time in over a year. Its killing me because every day I say f- him, I’m done…and like adrug addict every time I hear from him I’m on a high again. The difference this time is that the lows are lasting much longer than the highs now, and the brief autumn time I had with him seems like a dream and the rest of it is real, some kind of game he’s playing that I don’t know the rules to, or even how to get out of… And yeah, that darn pesky code lol :p

…also, gosh I sound like a drama queen sometimes lol…but yeah, life is kinda hard emotionally right now. I made the stupid mistake of falling in love, you see…xx

nope, no face. but I do know what you mean. Trees are like that.
LOL – adore your humour! You are one funny lady and I hope to read you in print one day. I like your idea of looking over the past year with ‘first lines’ of each month. I’d like to do the same and add to it, by doing first and last lines. Maybe…… Now, those pics. I couldn’t see the face in the tree nor charlie Chaplin – but then it is morning and I am sleepy eyed. Very best wishes, A
I saw the face in the first pic immediately and yes to Charlie. Why not accept you are better than those that do not see. better at seeing that is. loving hugs
ryn: Yes the kids do have a lot of clothes, both grandmothers buy them clothes and then mom does. After all the dad got a BBQ grill called The Green Egg for Christmas and it cost $1200.00. They are so wasteful and it really gets to me. I’ve always been able to have what I want within reason, especially when my husband was alive and we liked nice things but weren’t extravgent. I’ve woeked for several rich/well off couples and they are all the same.
Men in white coats needed here! Definitely a Man. Two eyes and nose above the bright light, which forms his mouth which is encircled by whiskers. A wrinkly gent, old and kind looking….

Oh dear… I can’t see either of them… and I did try. 😀
I can see eyes – and a nose, maybe – and then it disappears and I see shadows. It’s a bit like looking for the young woman/old woman in that common perception test. (You don’t know what I mean? Oh well …)
I see them both, though the top one took me a minute. For those who can’t find the top one, it looks as though he’s kissing the light. In the bottom one, the face is dead center. And it looks kind of like Einstein, too.

I can see a face in the tree. My eyes do that, too. Maybe its a Scots thing? LOL 🙂 KT

RYN: Are you ok? No I don’t not entirely…being the astute soul that he is, he figured out that something was badly wrong and has been putting some hard yards in. I have an entry brewing but its hard to get out…I’m probably exactly 50/50 of thinking it will work out and thinking that it will all go wrong again.xx
I do see the face! I had to look for a minute, but there it was— Hi Friendly Tree! You’re the only other person besides me who I’ve seen do this “first line/first paragraph” entry this year. I started not to since I waited so late, but couldn’t skip it– I’ve done it for YEARS now. I love writing in actual books with actual pens too. I keep telling myself it would really makea lot more sense to switch over to computers/tablets for all my writing, journals included— but there is just something so NICE about writing on paper with a pen you love. It’s very different than writing on the computer. And hey- when the Interwebs all go down and we return to the Dark Ages, at least we’ll still have our paper journals!
