Day 13 – Three confessions of your choice

1) I actually did a drive-off on gas once. This was back in 2005(?), and I was getting gas before I headed off to school. I don’t remember the exact amount of gas I pumped. I went to pay when my card was declined. I checked my balance on my card and was shocked to see it had a negative balance. I didn’t have any cash on me at the time, so I stayed around the gas station for a few minutes before driving off. My drive to campus was around 40 minutes. I checked my rear view mirror every few seconds to see if any police followed me. Fortunately, nothing happened *holds head in shame*.

2) I was a rowdy middle schooler after hitting puberty. I would walk behind girls at school and snap their bra from behind. Why would I do that? I have no idea. I would also walk behind and slap girls’ butts all the time. I wised up and stopped doing it in high school.

3) I never went to Prom in high school. I asked my best friend if she wanted to go together since we were both date-less. She said she didn’t want to go, but she later went with to Prom with another guy. My senior year, I just decided not to go. The only social event I went to was Homecoming Dance my junior year I believe. I just figured if I went to Prom, it would be a gigantic waste of money. I would more than likely spend time away from the dance floor with other kids.

Day 14 – Things you want to say to an ex

1) I still think about the fun times we’ve had together over the past 12 years. I sometimes wish we would have gotten together one more time, but I realized we were better off being friends than boyfriend and girlfriend.

2) No matter how long we go without talking or seeing one another, I could see you and still get butterflies.

3) I am so proud of the person you’ve become. You have three beautiful kids and is finally in a happy relationship to your future husband. I wish you all nothing but happiness in the years to come.
