Day 7 – Do you read? What are your favorite book?

I haven’t read a book in ages :-(.

Day 8 – Pet Peeves

I have a few pet peeves about work in general. First off, my Domino’s pet peeves.

1) The delivery charge is *not* the same as a tip for the drivers. We get paid minimum wage and is using our own car and gas to make it to your house safely. We’re not asking for a $20 tip, but at least give us $2. Especially if we make it to your house under 30 minutes.

2) We only carry less than $15 in change AT ALL TIMES. Let’s say your order is $22.95. You choose to pay with $40. Do not get mad at us if we can only give you $15 back.

3) Once you order your pizza, please answer your cell phone when we call you. If we’re delivering to your house, we may need to get in touch with you for directions and what-not.

4) Self-explanatory but answer your doorbell when we ring it. The last thing we want to do is bring the pizza back to the store. Then have the customer calling us back demanding to know where their pizza is.

Sears.

1) Store policy is the store policy. Sometimes, the manager does make exemption as long as you work with the manager. Yelling at the manager is not going to help the situation.

2) Do not get mad at us if corporate decides to discontinue an item and we are no longer able to get anymore of said item. That is out of our control, but we will gladly find you a substitute.

Facebook.

1) If all you post on facebook is woe-is-me everyday, at some point you need to reevaluate where you are. No one wants to hear the same sob story everyday.

2) #. When did facebook become twitter? It’s annoying seeing a status update and they end it with #Imusinghashtagbecauseitscool

3) All of those pics featuring unfunny captions. You’ve seen them before. The most popular ones I’ve seen include the Dos Equis guy, someecards, and most of all, the willy wonka pic. If I see the pic with the willy wonka guy one more time…

4) Changing your relationship status every other day.

5) I do not play any stupid facebook games. For the most part, I’ve blocked all of the facebook games. It’s still annoying when people are inviting you to play those games.
