Day 6 *Myrtle Beach edit*

Day 6 – What band/musician is most important to you?

Michael Jackson. I grew up listening to him thanks to my dad. I really wanted to write more, but I feel exhausted lol. I’m just enjoying this two hour break before I head to Domino’s.

*edit*

I feel better from before. So, I will finally have the time to write about the trip to Myrtle Beach!

We had reservations from the 7th-9th at the Bay View Resort. Since Ana lives two hours away, my plan was to make it to her house before 10:30. That would give us enough time to pick up the rental, load up the car, and make the four hour drive to Myrtle Beach.

The drive was peaceful and full of conversation. We spent most of the time talking about her new relationship :-). We also talked about how much we needed this vacation. The hotel we stayed at was beautiful. She had the oceanfront room while I had the ocean view room. My room had a mini fridge, sink, and a microwave oven.

After we checked into our rooms, we met up again to get something to eat. We chose to eat at Ruby Tuesdays and drove back to our hotel to relax. Ana wanted to walk along the beach at night, so I decided to join her. We spent about 30 minutes together before I went back to my room. She chose to spend more time walking along the ocean.

The following day, I woke up around 11, showered, and immediately went downstairs for swimming. I spent two hours in total before coming back to my room to rest. For most of this trip, we both spent a lot of time apart by design. She wanted to spend time working on her prayer journal while I wanted to just relax. We both walked along the beach again that night and toured most of the boardwalk. I went back inside around 8 p.m. Since we were leaving the next day, I wanted to spend the last few hours swimming.

Our car rental had to be back in Augusta by 5:30, so I told Ana we should try and leave the hotel by 10 a.m. I woke up around 8, so I could gas up the car, get breakfast, and have everything packed before we checked out. The front desk clerk checked us out, and we were on our way back to her house.

The drive back didn’t take as long as I thought. We made it to her house around 2:30ish. She followed me to Enterprise for the drop off, and then drove me back to her house to pick up my aunt’s car. I drove the last two hours back to my house and proceeded to crash the rest of the night lol.

And here are some more pictures of the trip.
