Vandalism

Another month down in 2012. I always look forward to the month of August. My dad’s birthday is coming up on the 24th, and Aerial’s birthday is on the 17th. Also, football season is just around the corner too :-).

In other news, our lawn mowers were vandalized late Friday night. Management has no clue who did it, but someone decided to bash the hoods of the mowers in. As a result, we’ve had to bring them in every night and roll them out every morning. Here are pics of the damages.

I think it’s pretty dumb to do something like this. I can never understand what would drive someone to do this.

Anyway, I had a great weekend. I worked at Sears both days and worked at Domino’s late Saturday night. On Friday, I made the decision to switch from Verizon to AT&T and picked up the nifty Samsung Galaxy S III. It’s one of the newest smartphones out there. It has a 4.8″ screen, super fast, and thin as heck. One of the features I love most is the ability to transfer files from my pc to my phone wirelessly. I no longer have to be confined to using a USB port.

I spent about 30 minutes at Best Buy Mobile transferring my service. I had a lot of time to talk to the store manager there. We got along rather well, and she kept mentioning how jealous she was. She has the Galaxy S 2, and she is always activating S3s for customers lol. She’s not eligible for an upgrade for another year. I also found out she is 28, has worked for BBM for a couple of years, and is wanting to be a teacher for a charter school. She wasn’t married, but I kept the conversation business-like. After she completed the transfer, I was off to go on my shift at Sears.

Sunday was a whirlwind, but boy what a day. I spent most of the time talking/texting with Monika. While I was on the phone with her, business grew for us dramatically. I went from having zero deliveries to being swamped in no time. I also received an average of $5 tip per delivery while talking to her. I kidded around and said she was my good luck charm lol.

I finished the night pocketing $80 :-).

Working both jobs have been pretty fun. I don’t have any complaints about doing it, and it’s ironic how people ask me WHY I do it. Truth be told, I should have done this a long time ago.
