Chicago Day 3

I had all day to kill for Day 3, so I decided to visit a few more attractions before I had to leave for home.

I took the blue line downtown, and my first stop was Navy Pier. A friend suggested I should try Garrett’s Gourmet Popcorn, but I totally forgot about it :-(. Once again, the weather was gorgeous! It was in the mid 60’s and party cloudy. There was a slight wind but the weather couldn’t be better.

I made my way to Navy Pier and explored the area. I just could not get over how beautiful Chicago looked from Navy Pier! I told Ana I probably took 100 shots of the Chicago skyline alone. Anyway, I also took a stroll on one of the many trails alongside Lake Michigan and enjoyed listening to music while taking in the fresh air.

I didn’t get to see the John Hancock Observatory. I also didn’t get to go on any of the riverboat tours either :-(. I stayed in downtown Chicago until close to 5 before making my way back to the hotel for the evening. I’ll end this entry with more pics from Day 3!
