Heading out

I absolutely love the day before I travel. It really feels like Christmas Eve, and I have a hard time sleeping lol. My plane leaves at 9:30. I’ll head over to my aunt’s house, so she can drop me off at the airport. Everything is packed except my tablet, camcorder and phone.

I had an exhausting day yesterday. I was originally scheduled to work from 11-6:15. I was the only associate left in receiving after 3:30. Unfortunately, since it was Friends and Family Day, the store would be open for an additional 3 hours. Six o’clock came, but no other associate was coming in. Apparently, the guy who was supposed to come in from 6-9:15 never showed. I ended up telling my boss I would stay the additional 3 hours.

I wasn’t happy at first, but I ended up working until 8:30. I had sooo much I needed done too. Fortunately, I was able to clean up the bathroom, do all my laundry and pack my suitcase.

Well, I am on my way out the door in mere moments. I will be back Thursday night, but I probably won’t update until Friday night. Have a great week!
