I’ve been cooking up a storm lately! My mom wanted me to make lasagna Friday. I was about to put it in the oven when I realized we didn’t have any aluminum foil left. I was freaking out because I didn’t want to go to the store *just* for some foil. Luckily, I had wrapped up some leftover pizza the night before. I washed up the foil and covered up the lasagna. The lasagna was perfect. I sprinkled an extra cup of mozzarella cheese, and it tasted so good. Easily the best lasagna I had ever made. It was gone within two days lol.
I thought about making chili last night, but I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. I had Chinese food for dinner. I had sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. I have plenty of leftovers at home.
I also wanted to go to the game tonight between the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls, but I didn’t jump on the cheapest ticket last night ($10). Instead, I waited until this morning to try and purchase a single ticket, and the cheapest one came out to be $50. While I was interning today, one of the interns passed out a ticket to the game tonight. I told the man I wanted to go, and he gave me the ticket! It’s an upper deck ticket, but the view won’t be bad at all. I’m currently sitting at the library in Georgia State waiting for the time to fly by. All I’ve had today was cereal, pork rinds and grapefruit juice.
Funny enough, I had my heart set on having lunch on my old campus, but they just so happen to be on spring break -_-.
I haven’t been up to much lately. I have been eyeing plane tickets to indiana over the weekend. My sis, Kelly, lives in Evansville, so I found real cheap tickets during the weekend of April 15-17th. The plane tickets are less than $250 to fly to Indianapolis, and it would be a 3-hour drive to the rest of the way. She also has a certificate for a free night’s stay, so that would definitely help. This will be the first time we have met, and we’ve known each other for over a decade! I’m excited!
Tomorrow, my mom will go to the bank to get the money for the plane tickets to the family reunion in July. She’ll give that money to me so I can use my card to book the tickets, and then my sister will pay her back over time.
Well, I’m going to get off of here and grab something to eat.
I love lasagna. 🙂
