Black Friday

I didn’t go out today to shop. In fact, I had a hard time sleeping last night. I woke up every hour on the hour b/c of a headache I had. At one point, I woke up around 4:30 a.m. My mom wanted to take Chip out to use the bathroom, but she unknowingly tripped our new alarm system. I was fortunate enough to hear the security alarm go off and quickly disarmed it. After that, I tried to sleep but it was too painful to sleep.

I’ve actually been experiencing Temporomandibular joint or TMJ for short. I ended up waking up for good around 9ish. I took a shower and felt a little better before the tmj started flaring up again. I laid down for a little bit and was actually able to get some moderate sleep. I didn’t wake up until 1 p.m., and at that time, my nieces arrived.

We spent most of the day over at my aunt’s house; she showed us some pictures of dad when he was a child. When we left her house, I stopped by Kroger’s to get some groceries and then to Zaxby’s and KFC for dinner. Amber and I put up the Christmas tree earlier, and it looks great so far :-). I’ll probably go out to Wal-Mart to buy some additional outdoor decorations. I love this time of year :-).
