The Ceremony
I just came back from the reception and a good day overall. This is how it started.
I went to bed at midnight and my mom woke me up around 8:15ish. I laid in bed for close to 30 more minutes and it was time for me to get up. My mom, my dad, and I went to my sister’s job to pick up the white car and then I would go get my haircut. My mom had other plans though; she wanted to pick up a friend to wash the truck before dropping me off to the barber. After the truck was washed, my mom dropped me off at the barbershop, and I waited for about an hour and a half before I was finally served. I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet and it was nearing 1. Then, we went to this place I hadn’t been in yet to look around. After that, we came on home. I got online and quickly checked my faves and then I had to get off and dress up for the wedding.
My aunt and uncle have been married for 50 years! It’s mind boggling to think that there are couples out there who live with each other for this long. They have 8 kids (one dead), several grandkids and great-grand children. For this day, I was an usher along with a couple of my cousins. The ceremony was kind of long and drawn out but it was well-worth it. That’s all I’m going to write about now because I’m feeling a little sleepy. Goodnight.

Wow, 50 years! That’s so romantic, I hope I have a strong relationship with someone just like your Auntie has (but perhaps, with not as many kids – he he!)

Glad to hear that they made it to 50 years… I always said if I got married… it would have to be like that because any other way just isn’t what i want. So hopefully when i find that guy, i’ll get that. 😉 take care and catch up on some rest!

I’m sorry, but Michael Jackson hasn’t been an “artist” in about 5-10 years. He’s a freak. ~Sarah
