Do I Really Need This?

I haven’t written since Wednesday, mainly due to OD acting weird. Anyway, here’s a recap of the past couple of days.

Thursday, my aunt drove me to Atlanta so we could pay off the tuition and get a replacement key for my dorm room. Traffic wasn’t bad at all; we got up there and came back with little problem. The thing about Atlanta, and big cities in general I would guess, have many one way streets that can confuse the heck out of someone. Anyway, we went an alternate way back than we were used to. We made it home alright though.

When we reached Covington, I asked my aunt to take me to Zaxby’s: a chicken place. While there, I met someone who graduated with me and another person I hadn’t seen in forever. I am kinda weird with my taste in food. I’ll eat chicken tenders, but I don’t eat fried chicken. I’ll only eat grilled hot dogs instead of hot dogs that are cooked on top of the stove.

Anyway, that night, I taught the Black Belt class (my second time) and sparring class. Friday, I didn’t really do anything noteworthy. Actually, my mom took me to get my license but they had concluded the driving tests for the day. When I got home, I remember my dad was telling me that he would take me on Monday, and that got me upset because I was thinking that I wouldn’t get my license anytime soon. However, this morning, he woke me up and asked me if I was getting my license; I said yes.

We got there around 7:30 but someone was already there before we were. The cars starting pulling up and by 8:30, there were about 10 cars there. There were people who didn’t understand the order of who was there. I was fortunate I was able to get in front of the line.

I was quickly serviced but was told to wait until they call me again. I wasn’t called again until like 10:30. I had to || park (not so good), drive straight ahead, back up, and drive in a zig-zag pattern. After that, the instructor gave me driving directions and she directed me back to the DMV place. She then told me I passed :-).

I’m feeling sleepy so I’m going to wrap this up.

Oh btw, last year at this time, Liz spent the weekend at my house. That was the best weekend of my life thus far :-).
