2,000th note among other things
Beth left me my 2,000th note yesterday.
Last night was interesting because my dad let me drive back to my dorm at night. I was so proud of myself because that was the first time I went up 75/85 (interstate that cuts through Atlanta) safely. Then today, I washed my clothes for the first time today.
That brings me to my next question. I wonder how would it feel as a parent to have your child grow up in front of you? Before last year, I didn’t know how to cook, do my own laundry, or maintain my own place (well kinda). When we’re little, we depend on our parents to supply us with everything in life: roof over our heads, food, do our laundry, and clean up after ourselves. At a young age, we don’t have to worry about financial matters. However, the older we get, the more independent we become. I couldn’t imagine what goes through a parent’s mind when their child no longer depends on them. I bet they feel excited, but at the same time, I’m sure they feel saddened because their little one has grown up.
well joe I feel that internet chats ARE stupid, and that’s MY opinion. I’m letting you have yours the least you could do is let me have mine. And now i’m telling you something straight: plz don’t leave me any more notes. I’d appreciate it, and i’m not letting vlad write this note so you’d better be thankful. thank you and all your friends i don’t give a flying **** what you think i’m GREAT =)

Ahhh I hate people who act like that. What a f*ckin snob. Joe I swear with the way she’s acting i really think your better off without her. Telling you that you should be thankful her b/f isn’t writing the note. Like anything he says is really gonna scare you. I hope you don’t take offense to this but What A Bitch that girl is. Well I’m out. Ta! Ta!

He he! Whenever I do something ‘grown up’ my parents wither cry or give me the ‘we’re so proud of you’ speach! I’m the youngest child in my family, so I guess it makes things harder that I am now growing up.

Too bad your memories of 2000 are somewhat tainted. And I think it must be tough to watch your kids grow up on one hand, but on the other, it’s a good thing too. IF you never grew up, I’m sure that would worry them!
