Commercials and Last Entry

Here’s just a few commercials that I like and dislike:

like:

1)Geico commercial (the one where the Taco Bell dog says, “Oh great, a talking Gecko”)

2)The anti-drug commercials

3)The aflac commercials

Dislike:

1)The new Nestea commericals.

Anyway, I had read that article and my first reaction was one of shock because I was thinking that the asteroid was one of those global disaster like. I’m sure you all have heard about the one that will (or will miss) the Earth in like 5,000,000 years or something like that. It’s pretty wild, but I am glad we missed that asteroid last week. Kelly (Disorganizedmind) bought up a good point when she talked about the Sum of All Fears:

“It’s so scary. It could really happen. What’s worse is the common Joe, Me, us, would never even know until it was too late. We’d never know it was coming. When the president is off safe because they saved HIS ass in time…the rest of us are still living out our lives when the bomb hits.”

That ties in to what the last article was talking about. We, the citizens, wouldn’t have been alerted to something hitting the earth. I’m reminded of a scene in the movie, “Men in Black”, where the agents were questioning whether or not to alert the people about what would happen. K, I believe, said that the people should just live their normals lives b/c they will panic. In a way, that’s kinda true. If word was to get out about something happening, we would panic (understandly so).
