“And You Wonder Why We’re Paranoid”
Today was a rather uneventful day. I woke up and started playing a little FFX and then took my shower. Since I got my haircut Monday, I went ahead and shaved off my goatee; all I have now is my mustache.
My mom asked me if I wanted to go El Charo’s and I told her yes. She said we would leave around 12 or so. I spent some time online and checking my faves. I went to espn.com when AOL froze, and at that time, I decided not to try to get back on. I played a little more FFX and then we were leaving for El Charos.
The food was great at El Charo’s.
Amber can pick up stuff really well now. She saw me dipping the chip into the salsa and she tried to do the same ^_^. After that, I went a couple of stores down to Food Depot. When we got home, I got online and surfed a little bit. I got off to try my hand at some mini-games in FFX. I ended up giving up and got back to get online but the comp froze so I rebooted.
My dad wanted me to add local channels to our Dish 500. After ordering that, I got online to chit chat. Oh yeah I forgot. The next part will explain the reason for my title.
My dad and I were watching Judge Mathis with the new local channels on our satellite. There was this court case where ex-g/f was sued for some dental work she did. The guy talked pretty slow–b/c of the dental work–and then it was the lady’s turn to give her testimony.
She started out with a pretty lame ‘he’s jealous’ type things. She said that he was jealous over a phone number stored in her cell. She then said it was a *gasp* black guy. Now, Greg Mathis saw right through her defense and said, ‘he didn’t know the guy was black did he?’ to which she replied, ‘no’. Then, he gave a little lecture on how something can turn into racial implications. I agreed with him on that. This lady’s defense was centered on the fact that her ex b/f was jealous over a phone number and that he was racist. After he blew her defense, she didn’t stand a chance.
People are sooo ignorant.
Oh yeah one more thing. At El Charo’s, I saw this kid who was in a wheelchair, missing about 4 front teeth and retarded. I also saw some kids who were retarded as well–they were involved in Special Olympics. Now, I do not say anything negative about anyone, regardless of how retarded they might be. When we are born, we have no control where we are born; what the financial situation is; how our bodies will take shape, or what will happen to us. Also, never go around teasing the less fortunate b/c we never know if we could end up in that state. For those who would be considered, ‘normal’, we must be thankful and not tease. I’ve always believed that.
i’m VERY thankful that i have a fully functional brain…i feel really sorry for those people who weren’t. :-0

your comp freeze a lot huh? as for your comment about the people who were mentally retarded, I work with 4 mentally retarded men, it’s the most rewarding job ever, I agree with you totally! A majority of the time I’d rather be around them than “normal” folks cya
