Great News cont

I got the glasses at Wal-Mart super center. I actually got the call this morning saying my glasses were in. I asked my dad if we could go right away but he said that I should wait until my mom got in. When she got in, I told her my glasses were in and she said we would go later tonight. I couldn’t wait until tonight to get my glasses so she said she would take me.

My glasses are very slim and lightweight; I don’t feel like I have a headache with these glasses on. When I first put them on, my eyes were a little blurry but they adjusted real well. The glasses are also scratch proof and have the no glare feature. They settle in nicely on my face as well :-).

The dish network guy was here to install a dish for the two rooms in the basement. That brings the total number of satellites to three; the number of receivers/rooms we have are 5/4. Our very first satellite is in the den and have crappy reception. Ironically, I don’t have a satellite in my room :-(. I really don’t like to tell my dad there is a show I want to watch/record. Now, I can use the one in the den to record the various shows.

I missed the series finale of “24” lastnight. The VCR did a crappy job of recording Buffy and I didn’t record the second hour.

These glasses are great! It sucks not having any because Monday, a friend of mine who graduated with me said hello to me at Taco Bell. I was at the register and she was working behind the drive in register; I did not recognize her and even when I moved closer, I still didn’t recognize her. In fact, I had to ask her what her name was. Anywho, I’m going to look at monster.com and see if I got any job offers :-).
