Could you see those two touring as a double bill? Call it the Parody of Our Own Selves Tour.

Yay for great tickets!!! I bet it’s going to be quite the show! RYN: I’m in Calgary from mid-July to mid-November. If you and Mike aren’t going to NY in August… maybe you can plan a trip for late November? ‘Cause um… NY is so great in the winter, lol! 🙂

How was the museum party? I met the artist Steven LaRose beforehand for a drink – he is best friends with Whiting Tennis, who I understand won the award. But I ended up not going to the museum…..

ryn – Can I tell you how much I love you? The alternate title of the entry was originally “Wear Sunscreen” because I was thinking of the exact same line.

June 27, 2008

ryn – DEFINITELY! I may try to get tickets to the show as well…I had planned on seeing her in NYC but now Oakland might be my best bet too…

June 29, 2008

RYN… an old friend I haven’t seen since 2000 is coming into town that day! But our meeting is not set in stone and if she can’t be there, I’ll come to your party for sure.

ryn: only about half of Hillary supporters are going to vote for Obama, so we’re not all on the same time. And almost none of the Hillary supporters I know would ever vote for Obama short of a knife to their throat.

June 30, 2008

ryn: well, in a state like WA where Obama is going to win by 20 points according to the latest polls, there is no net result. But, a lot of us don’t like him, don’t like his wife, don’t think he has the experience it takes to run a small business yet alone the country, and don’t believe that he’s going to govern with anyone in mind other than himself. That said, I may vote for him. But I may not. If Hillary is on the ticket, I’ll vote for him for sure. If not, then 50/50 chance. Besides, McCain isn’t all that bad — he’s no better or worse on most of the issues I care about than Obama is.
