Muse – Where have all the articles gone?
I noted this article on another diary. It’s about Haiti and as you hear very little about Haiti as of late I read, interested. What lay within was another obvious example of American cultural deafness and disregard for fostering goodwill when it inconveniences us.
Worse yet. I can’t find a thing about this online. Nothing at all.
Actually, NPR did have a small blip about this incident. But it was only a nano-second, and if you were chewing gum or a horn honked you would have missed it. I guess the story was too inconvenient for the news agencies to report also. As always, excellent point.

I have had this problem since I started getting involved when the first bush was in office. Much of what was shown to the few of us has yet to come out. Much of it we were called conspiracy theorists and it did come out vindicating us. Personally I would rather go in the direction of right and be wrong than to go in the direction of wrong and be right. I have sent out for more info.

I am not sure why no one understands this. Muslim fundamentalists would see you and I dead before they allowed Americanism into their world. That is why they fly planes into buildings. And I am not even going to think about “what if you were intheir shoes?” because it’s never going to happen. Never! So why should I try to be considerate of people who want you and me dead?

A good example of how the media creates news rather than reports it. It’s sad that this isn’t getting more exposure.
