Theme – Ren’s Pockets

Q. What do you have in your pockets (apologies to Bilbo)? What do you always carry with you?

What don’t I have in my pockets?

Normally, when it comes to my pants pockets, I have my wallet(or just some loose cash if I’m going to get something specific) and house keys at least. Sometimes some pens or pencils, a tissue, my USB flash drive, a book and/or my GBA. Though usually the last two are in pockets of my coat or in my bag.

One thing that always comes with me on long distance or lengthy trips is my bag. The type of bag has shifted over the years as the old wears out and makes way for the new, but I usually have at least a book(usually several, often RPG books included), some candy, my digi cam, my little radio, spare batteries, candy, plugs and chargers for my GBA and camera and other such small bric-a-brac. My umbrella is usually tucked in (small umbrella). If the weather is in question I might have a pair of sweats in to provide an additional layer for my legs, though not often. Gloves are also added when the weather is or could be cold.

I have a big coat that Luriena gave me once Christmas, which has many pockets. I have some secret cash for emergencies in it(hidden), tissues, candy(of course), a handful of my GBA games and other miscellaneous doodads.

Generally, I’m prepared for almost anything I might come across while traveling. Fortunately all of the above are travel sized items so I’m rarely carrying a real heavy load.

I believe in being prepared for what might come along and you never know when some amusements or candy might come in handy.
