Me – Laughing at Reality

It all started when I spent hours scouring the net for new skins for characters in Freedom Force. Ahh, Freedom Force, a cute little game for playing Super Heroes. Make your own or replicate your favorite, its all good.

Then I found it. A Saddam skin. Immediately I was struck by the comical possibilities. And so started Super Saddam. Only in a bizarre imagination such as mine could something so silly be conceived.

His powers were, of course, easy to begin. After playfully giving him high base stats and some choice abilities, I started on the main meat of the offensive powers. First one was easy. The cataclysmic power of WMD!!! (Exclamation marks part of the name)

Being an unrealistic character, it has low power usage, long range, maximum blast radius and high damage. This massively destructive power levels opposition. Minions usually iced in a single titanic blast, bosses sent flying by the power’s massive knock back and dazed by the high stun percentage. The collateral damage extensive as buildings are clipped and crumble form the force of Super Saddam’s radioactive blasts.

A second power given is Deceit and Denial, a boggling ability to stun his foes and deny them the advantage by blasting them away from him, giving more room to maneuver and bring to bear his destructive big guns.

Some might say its’ wrong to make Super Saddam. Others might think it a but pointless. I find it damned amusing to run the mustachioed titan around, using his terrifying powers for the general mayhem of good.

Though now I find myself wondering what else to give him. He has a solid double set of powers right now between WMD!!! and Deceit and Denial. But what other strange and unusual powers should this reformed baddie bring to bear in the name of laying waste to the baddies of a four color universe?

Suggestions welcome.

And while you’re at it, if anyone knows where I can get a set of George Bush, Ariel Sharon and Yasser Arafat skins, let me know. All perfect additions to my new super team. Lets see them do some good in the world for once. 😉

His mustache alone makes him a dangerous man. I mean, just look at that thing.
