Muse – No News is Annoying

At least, that’s what I think. A combination of work to be done early in the morning and uncooperative Internet access from work have conspired to generally defuse the news this morning. But no worries, it’ll be back tomorrow. 😉

A mildly interesting things. I regularly visit the forums on Gaia and one of the interesting aspects of the site is that you have a little custom avatar that you can dress up and customize. It’s an amusing diversion and addition to the site.

The admins regularly have donation items that you can get for giving donations to the site and make little novelties for the avatars during events like holidays and such.. Well, with Halloween coming up, they have little paper bag masks(with 12 different faces). You buy something for 1000 or more gold and you get one for free.

I got one, just because I hade spare gold to spend on something and I’ve been looking around the forums for the last few minutes. It’s odd how much people go nuts over the simplest of things. True, most of these people are mid teens to under thirty, but still. I guess it goes to show that, even with the growing jaded nature of today’s youth, some can still get excited over the simplest of pleasures.

That isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
