Darkshadow shrugs “Never said you didnt. As to the appartment complex, it is to the south I belive yes. Though I’m not sure how it’s holding up for vacancies. But if you want a free place to stay a while the offer’s still open. Isnt terribly private except no one else is staying out at the old base right now anyway. Military style bunks, not too comfortable but better than nothing.”

Contrary shakes her head a little. “No thanks.. I’ll get a place.”, she replies before falling silent again. She seems like she might say something, but as moments pass she remains silent. And stares at you a bit more, conscious of it or not.

Darkshadow shrugs again at that “Suit yourself.” then a slight equivilant to a frown “But your -sure- you’ve never been here before?” he personaly doesnt appear convinced of that. While what was mentioned so far is pretty public knowledge, Contary’s whole manner…some how seems off to him.

Contrary is quiet for a few moments, as if deciding how to answer your question. “No..” Slowly spoken in response, though exactly which she’s saying no to is left to interpretation. “I.. I better go before the management is gone..”, she says suddenly a beat later. She’ll immediately try to swing around you to resume travel toward the south. If you let her is another matter.

Darkshadow makes no effort to stop her though he does call after her “Probably allready is gone. But they might have some setup to leave em a message. The orrigional onwer just up and left one day, left the whole thing to his wife far as I know. ” with that he heads back towards the entrance to his shop.

Contrary shifts her head slightly to the side as you speak more, but she doesn’t stop or turn fully around. Instead continuing along at an elevated walking pace. No response from her, except for her retreating form.
