WW Start

Today’s "reset" did a lot for my mental state, so I am confident it was the right decision. If you missed my 2012 promise, check it out here.

I weighed in at 298.4 this morning. Much too close to "3" for my taste (and that ensures I will be busting my ass to move further away from it). I looked at some old weigh-in books from the last few years and came to the realization that I just stopped caring to a certain extent. I believe the reason that I never returned to my old weight of 406 lbs was simply because I truly enjoy working out. My love of eating helped me regain half of the weight I originally lost…my love of exercise kept the other half off. LOL

I am not going to decide on a goal weight right now because I have a lot of work to do. I can tell you from my previous march to goal, my lowest weight was 196 lbs and my body refused to go lower. I changed up my diet and workouts…did every plateau breaker imaginable. I actually had people telling me that I should stop there. I was still thick on the bottom (that’s genetics, baby!), but I was positively thin on top…like sharp, protruding chest bones thin. At 196 lbs, I was able to wear medium t-shirts. Crazy. I must also remind you that I am 6’0" with a wide frame. I felt I looked better around 205-210 lbs…and that may be where I declare goal and shift to maintenance. I’ll cross that bridge when I arrive.

My goals for Week 1
-Eat clean (I have been in processed foods heaven lately and that must stop now)
-Stay within Points target
-Gym 4x
-Lose 3 lbs

Thanks again for staying along for the ride…guess some of you want to eventually see a return on your investment. haha

Hope everyone is having a great week,
C

I just adore you. I haven’t mentioned it lately, but I do. You are a remarkable woman and I’m so glad to know you.

You GO!!!! Good for you! I was up 5 pounds at weigh in, but I knew it. As my leader said who is so awesome, it was a choice. And it was. I chose to throw my hands up and stop tracking. have a great week C!! xoxo (Jackie)

Excited for you, I think this is great stuff! 🙂

I’m so glad you’re back. 🙂 I have followed your journey for several years and it is always good to see an update. Good luck this week! I’m not doing WW right now, but I am restarting my weight loss. Hugs.

I understand the whole “love of eating, love of exercise” mentality. That’s where I am and because of that I cannot break through my current weight band. I am stuck within a 5 lb band and I still want to lose another 20 lbs. UGH! But, mentally being prepared will help you physically achieve your goals! Yay for WW and Yay for weight loss and Yay for happiness. 🙂

I have been following you for years and I really appreciate your honesty and your commitment of sharing your story with us. I am in a similar situation. I actually got to goal with WW several years ago…maintained for about a year and now I am back where I started. I don’t know if I can do WW again, but I am hoping to get motivated to do something. Reading your posts definitely helps! Thanks
