Happy Friday!

Hey kiddies!

Can you tell I’m happy to see an end to this work week? Between my actual workload, committee business, boot camp and planning M’s shower…a sistah is tired. Excuse the randomness…

*Office school supply drive starts next week. The entire office is divided into 8 teams and things will get ridiculously competitive. I thought someone was going to get cut during the food drive. LOL People were that serious about winning.

*M’s baby shower will be spectacular. I’ll be sure to take pictures of the event. Red and I have party planning down to an art form. We can rule the world with headsets, velvet rope and a clipboard.

*The committee will be planning our holiday party menu in a couple of weeks. I’m going to fight for a carving station (good protein) and at least one healthy appetizer, dammit!

*Gap has created new "curvy" jeans…."try this fit if your waist is smaller than your hips". I’ll give them a try this weekend and report back to my fellow brickhouse divas.

*Potbelly opened a new location near my house/office. People at work are going crazy about it. I’m not eating at that place…too dangerous. LOL The name even warns you what will happen after too many sandwiches.

*Chesty and I have a bike ride this weekend…and we’re also going to an amateur figure/fitness show. I haven’t mentioned it here, but Chesty is thinking about working towards a competitive physique. I think she has a good build for it and so does my personal trainer friend. We’re going to check out the show to see what’s involved and she’ll be meeting with a trainer after PVR. Pretty cool, eh? More details to come…

*My little bro has been doing a summer internship with the Dallas Mavericks. *jealous*

*Lynn and I are currently planning a trip to New Orleans for the Bayou Classic. It looks like we’ll have a nice group for the party weekend. I’m excited because we’ll finally get to meet face-to-face…and Lynn is a French Quarter virgin. LOL Chesty and I will make sure she experiences everything. you know what they say…

What happens on Bourbon St…Will probably happen on Canal too!

*The Little Prince enjoyed Arbuckle Wilderness…with the exception of the giraffe tongue that grossed everyone out. *gag*  We were warned against feeding the zebras and donkeys from the start. Why were the kids in front of us hanging out of their minivan and FEEDING THE ZEBRAS AND DONKEYS? I was just waiting for the lastest installment of  When Animals Attack…

*A new IKEA store opened outside of Dallas this week and people went apeshit. They offered a $2500 store credit to the first person inside the store after the opening…and some fool camped out overnight. PLEASE…it’s not that serious.

Well…it’s time for G’s spinning class. Hope you all have a great  weekend!

I got a postcard from Gap about the “curvy” jeans. I can’t wait to hear how you like them. I’m waiting to buy new jeans until my current ones are too loose. May be awhile….

she didn’t just camp out overnight for IKEA… she was out there for 10 days!!

Oh okay, that’s excessive – cause if it was just overnight I would surely have done it too!!!! – Shellybelly
