Saturday Night Fever

J’s birthday bash is tonight! I think I’ve been socially deprived for the last several months. I go through these weird periods of wanting to be a homebody and now I’m wanting to be in the “scene” again. I’m sure some of that has to do with my weight loss cycles. I’d like to think that weight doesn’t affect my social mood, but it does. If I go through a period of mild plateauing, I have no desire to socialize. I’d rather sit at home and be pissed. Now that I’m extremely focused again (and the weight is dropping), I’m ready to be out and about. LOL That’s so fairweather, but I’m keeping it real.

The most important thing on today’s agenda? Eyebrows! Ugh…I’m not trying to look like Al B. Sure. Remember him? Late 80s R&B crooner. A decent looking brotha (except for those horrid brows). After my weed whacking, Chesty and I will be heading to Old Navy/Gap to find something casual/cute and the liquor sto’ for the low point favorites (I’m not blowing my progress this week). The plan is to pick up Red (because she plans to get all kinds of “errbody in the club” tipsy*), meet at Tucker’s house for 7:30 and then head to J’s.

*I don’t plan to get to’ up because I need to have sense and sensibility at the after party. Also, I plan to see Prisoner of Azkaban on Sunday…and serious hangover + Potter Possessed 10 year olds is a recipe for disaster.

Well, it’s time to go workout. The weather is finally decent in Big D, so I’m going to go play outside. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I totally remember Al B. Sure! All I can think of when I say his name is a wife beater t-shirt and some crazy ass brows! Giiiirl, I feel you on the brow thing too! Courtney, I just wanted to encouage you by telling you that I’m very happy to see you sticking with the lifestyle changes you have made. I have not been successful at losing weight but the times I’ve been inspired have included when I have seen your success.
