Leaving on a jet plane…
This week has been crazy! Work was a bit chaotic after the official purchase
announcement, but things have calmed down. Pregnant Friend #1 was induced this
morning, so hopefully I’ll meet the baby before I leave town tomorrow. PF #1 has
chosen to give the baby up for adoption and I want to be around for emotional
support. She is 100% sure of her decision, but that doesn’t mean it was easy to
make, you know?
So…tomorrow I leave for Cozumel! To say I’m excited is an understatement. I
really need this vacation. I’m not worried about wearing a bathing suit or
gaining 5+ lbs from drinking my weight in ‘ritas. I’ll face the scale when I get
home. Right now, I plan to party like a rock star P. Diddy.

My best and warmest wishes to PF#1. I also relinquished a child, so I can imagine how she is feeling. I wish I could give her a big hug–though, it would be pretty weird with me being a total stranger and all. My daughter is now 20, a beautiful young woman. She cam to visit me when she was 18. I have to say, it was the best decision for both of us, but oh, so painful. Have fun in the sun!
