Peloton Project-Ride for the Roses
Ride for the Roses Weekend is among the most popular and significant events in the world of cycling. Last year the event raised more than $2.7 million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s cancer survivorship programs and grants. The 2003 Ride for the Roses Weekend is scheduled for October 24-26 in Austin, Texas. I will be participating in the 5K run and 25-mile bike ride. Participation in the 2003 event requires a minimum fundraising level of $100. If you’d like to donate to this wonderful cause (and my latest fitness endeavor):
-Please go to http://www.laf.org
-Select “Peloton Project”, then “Sponsor a Member”
-Search for my name, “Courtney Gibson”
I appreciate the support!
I’m hoping that my bike workouts over the next 4 weeks will help me get back on the wagon 100%. I am still working out faithfully, but my eating has been out of control for the last few weeks. As promised, I’m not going to go into weekly figures, but something tells me my monthly report for September will be an overall (significant) gain. October will be better.
Hope everyone is having a great week…only 2 days until I hit the Big 26. Am I a spinster yet? LOL

Happy (early) Birthday, C! I’m not far behind ya… but you are still older than me. 😛 Just kidding… hope all is well, chica. 🙂

Happy birthday. You may not be a spinster, but you’ll feel as old as me challenging the hills in Austin. I know… so very supportive. 🙂 *ducks and hides*

Happy early birthday, dollface! You will never be a spinster. Divas only improve with age, just like the finest wine!
