Weekend & Kitty Pics

I’m really liking this 3 day weekend thing. I only have school Monday-Thursday so every weekend is a three-day weekend. When I used to work Mon-Fri the weekends always felt too short. I like this, I need my days to be balanced so that I don’t feel like I’m spending my whole life indoors, especially during the warm months. I’m a very outdoors kind of person, I need enough time in the evenings to be outside, to feel the sun on my face, the wind in my hair, to go swimming and such.

This weekend was a good weekend, the weather was beautiful, so beautiful it was hard to keep myself indoors, I kept thinking of excuses to go outside despite needing to do things indoors. I even kept doing laundry just so I could go stand outside and hang things on the line. It’s hard to describe how the first week of beautiful weather makes me feel, the best description I can give is that I feel energized and renewed. I can’t soak up enough sunlight and fresh air. I love spring.

Anyway, not a lot to report, hubby and I planted pansies last night. I plant pansies every year as soon as they’re available for purchase. 🙂 Pansies are my favorite flower. I’ll take pictures once they’re blooming more. My creeping flox have spread, I’ll post pictures of those too once they flower, they’re kind of boring right now. 🙂
