Book Dealie & Updates

1) Grab the nearest book.

2) Open the book to page 123.

3) Find the fifth sentence.

4) Post the text of the next four sentences on your blog along with these instructions.

5) Don’t you dare dig for that “cool” or “intellectual” book in your closet. Just pick up the whatever is closest.

6) Tag five people.

“Ranged Attacks: With a ranged weapon, you can shoot or throw at any target that is within the ranged reapon’s maximum range and in line of sight. A target is in line of sight if no obstructions are between you and the target. The maximum range for a thrown weapon is five range increments. For projectile weapons, it is ten range increments.”

That was from the D&D Players Handbook. Since we don’t really keep literature in here the closest books to me are all Game related or are old Computer Textbooks or Manuals.

Everyone I’d think to tag has already done this so if you haven’t, and you want to. You’re tagged.

In other news: I submitted my resume to the local music store. The place I usually take my instruments to get fixed. It’s just a part-time position that I’m applying for but really that’s all I need. If I could make enough money to pay for our grocery needs we’d be in great shape. It’d also be nice to not work full-time. And I’d be somewhere I like to be, the music store! There’s also the employee discount bonus (provided part-timers get that). I’d just have to be careful not to spend more than I make. 😉

Not much else for news. I finished knitting my purple scarf and just started today on a purple and black striped blanket. Provided this blanket goes well I may let hubby pick a couple colors and I’ll make another one. We’ll see how it goes. 🙂

Band tonight, of course. I found out why the old secretary hasn’t been to band to hand over her stuff to me and I talked to one of the other ex-board members who gave me all the info I really needed to get going. I don’t have any paperwork or anything but hopefully I’ll have all that stuff as of tonight.

Anyway, I’m off to find something to do.
