So, not a lot going on. We were supposed to have company this past weekend but that didn’t happen. Someone hubby works with. I’ve talked about her quite a bit, she adopted one of our kittens. From now on I’ll be calling her Tracy. She was supposed to come over on Sunday at one. 1:30 rolled around and she hadn’t shown up so hubby called her. She’d gotten distracted by her sister needing help with her taxes and ended up not coming over.
So there we stood with a spotlessly clean house and no guests. We spent the rest of the day playing Neverwinter. 🙂
Last night hubby and I looked at the moon. Hubby got a telescope as his 10th year Anniversary gift from where he works. The moon was big and bright last night so we looked at it. That was really cool! I’m into astronomy, have been since I was really little. So it was neat to see the moon close up like that. You can see the craters really well. We haven’t looked at anything else. Still getting used to the telescope. Hubby wants to get a camera attachment so he can take some pictures of the moon.
We talked about going to the Bronx Zoo this month. We went a couple of years ago but didn’t really get to see everything. It’s such a big place that it’s really hard to see everything in one day.
We’re also discussing going to Maine in May! We haven’t been in SO LONG! We’ve been too broke to spend the money. This year, however, we just may have the money to do it. I’ll know for sure in a few days. If we go we may even take the Z. We haven’t been able to trust it to drive that far in a long time. It’s running great though now, better than it has since I got it 11 years ago. I so hope we can go to Maine. Let me tell you there is nothing like the little ocean front hotel room we book when we go there! I always miss my cats though any time we go away. It’s nice to know they’re in good hands with our neighbors and I’ll probably set up a webcam or two so I can keep an eye on them. 🙂 We had talked about taking Sara with us when we went but I think we’re going to not do that. Before we didn’t really have anyone to take her without feeling like we were burdening them. Hubbys Aunt and Uncle said they would be just ecstatic to take her for us though. They had a golden for a long time but she passed away. They’d like more than anything to borrow ours for a bit. 🙂
I still don’t have my flute back from the shop. I’m going to have to call them in a couple of days if they don’t call me first. I expected to be without it for one week, but not two. As retarded as it may sound I miss it.
Anyway, I should get going for now.
