I had to take my eyebrow ring out. Actually, I technically had to have my hubby help me take my eyebrow ring out. It rejected, which is pretty common for eyebrow piercings since they’re surface piercings. I knew when I got it there was a good chance it would happen to me. I think it happened because I don’t have a lot of extra skin up there. They tend to stay better for people that do. My hubby, for instance, his piercing is doing great and he has a whole lot of extra skin around his eyebrow. Despite my best efforts and taking excellent care of it it’s gone. I realized a couple of months ago that I was going to lose it. Some migration is normal while they settle in but mine never stopped moving, it got to the point where it was obviously not stopping and there was very little skin left covering the ring. I decided it was time to take it out on Friday because the longer you leave it in the worse the scar gets.

I’ll miss it. I thought that piercing looked really good on me. It was fun while it lasted. I’ll probably not be doing any more surface piercings like that though. I’m contemplating getting my lip done (off to the side as to not interfere with my flute playing) or maybe I’ll just wait until I can afford another tattoo.

Not much else going on. Hubby and I did some errands on Saturday and stuff. Today we did a little cleaning. We’ve been working on purging some of the junk. Today we went through about half of our files. We put some of the critical stuff into a bolted down fire-proof safe we got on Saturday.

Hubby is taking a week off not this coming week but the following week and we’re going to do some more purging. We have too much crap. We’re not as bad as some people, y’know like people you’ll see on those shows like Clean Sweep. But we’re bad enough. 🙂

Anyway, Hubby is currently messing with the pictures from Thursday so I should have those to post soon.
