We might be getting tickets to see King Lear at Yale! Front row seats! Someone in hubbys networking class has them and can’t use them. We’re not sure if we’re getting them or not yet. I hope so, that’d be a blast! It’s an 8pm show this Saturday. It’ll be a nice break because this weekend we’re planning to clean. We really need to get everything ready for a tag sale this spring. I’m thinking April if the weather is nice, if not, maybe May. We’re going through everything in every room in our house! It’s gonna suck. 🙂
I had quite a fright when hubby left for school this evening. I went into the upstairs bathroom and there was a spider on the ceiling!!!! Luckily hubby was still in the car in the driveway. I screamed, ran down the hall and started yelling and waving frantically at hubby out the bedroom window. Logical thing to do. Well, okay, maybe not. But I’m phobic. If that spider had stayed in there I wouldn’t have been able to use the bathroom for 3 hours!! The downstairs toilet is broken and I had to go!!!! *laughs* I think it was the same spider that scared the living crap out of me then promptly disappeared this morning. I HATE spiders, and they always seem to come out and scare me, they never surprise hubby, just me!! They drop in front of me, they appear on walls in front of me. It’s a consipiracy, I’m telling you. Their base is probably in our attic and they have little weekly spider meetings where they plan their little spider war against me. They’re evil little bastards they are!
After hubby left I sat down at my computer and one of our kittens decided he absolutely had to have up on the speaker shelf by the ceiling. I didn’t think he’d really try to jump up there, there really wasn’t any room. But he did! He came tumbling down, followed by one of the speakers. The speaker cord snapped out of the back, the speaker bounced off of hubbys office chair making a nice tear in it, then bounced off his computer turning it off in the process, hit the wall making a nice hole and then landed on the floor breaking all the little plastic clips that hold the front on it. *sigh* The joys of kitten ownership.
Anyway, I’m out, gots things to do. 🙂
Animals are grand. 😛
