I called an old friend of mine from Tulsa tonight. I’m glad I did, we’re going to try to get together next time I’m in town. 🙂 She’s been a good friend of mine for a long time, she was the daughter of the preacher at the church my parents went to. The preacher and my father used to meet for counseling sessions once a week and dad often had to drag me along with him. One day the preacher brought his daughter for someone for me to play with. We were about 10 or 12 or so at the time. We sat on the counter in the church kitchen and split a strawberry cream soda. After that we pretty much became inseperable for a long time. Now we’re all grown up, married and busy as can be and we hardly have time to keep in touch. I’m glad I called when I did b/c as of Monday she’ll be out of town on business for about 3 weeks!

Anyway, I am off to work on a little webpage about my grandfather. I want to get all my memories and stuff down. I’ll probably post a link to it in here once it’s finished.

I hope everyone is having a happy Thursday. Tomorrow is Friday and that makes me very happy!!
