The traffic this morning was absolutely horrid. There was a little bit of snow on the ground and at least 6 or 8 accidents on the highway. There was not THAT much snow on the ground, there should not have been 6 or 8 accidents on the highway at 7:30AM, no sir. Shame on people who drive agressively, or just flat out stupidly, in the snow. tsk tsk! I saw an awful lot of flat out stupidity this morning on the road. A quick lesson on driving in the snow, we do not jam our brakes in the snow or when the roads may be icy, we do not tailgate in the snow and we do not try to pass people on the shoulder of the road in the snow! Even if there is somewhere terribly important you have to be, it is better to take your time than end up with your pretty little car smashed up against the guardrail. No one wants big ole ugly dents in their car do they? Not to mention ending up in the guardrail would cause more of a delay than staying a fair distance from the car ahead and going a little bit slower, would it not?

*sighs*

When I got into work I checked my direct deposit and discovered it was off, way off, in my favor nonetheless. I’ve checked with my supervisors and I have not been given a raise, though that would have been nice. Payroll has effed up. This whole new payroll system thing we’ve gone to sucks the big one.

Anyway, my whole morning has been wasted b/c of running around trying to fix this problem with my pay and now it’s lunchtime. So I’m off.
