Okay then, this is probably the last chance I’ll have to write in my OD before we leave tomorrow morning. The next time I’ll have a chance to write in here will be when I’m in beautiful Perrysburg, Ohio. heh, I don’t really know that Perrysburg is beautiful, I’ve never been there. For all I know it sucks. Anyway, provided we can score a local number to dial in on I’ll be updating my OD over a lovely dial-up connection. *cringes at thought of dial-up connection*.
I turned my fishy’s heater off and have been watching the water temperature gradually drop in his tank. They keep it so fucking cold in this building. The heater needed time to cool off though since I’ll be leaving it in the cabinet when I leave. I don’t need it at home, the room I keep the fish in stays really warm. It can be 60 degree’s downstairs and that room will be in the upper 70’s. It’s the perfect room for fish, let me tell you. The kittens room is the same way luckily. My hubby and his siblings were lucky, those two rooms in the house were theirs as kids. When I was a kid I had the coldest room in the house! My dad had this damned wood stove and he’d get a fire going in that, the living room would be so hot it’d keep the heater from kicking on, the heat from the fireplace didn’t travel to my room no matter what they tried to do. I complained and complained and was ignored for years until my dad finally put a thermometer in my room to see how cold it really was. It was like 53 degree’s in my room!! By then though, my parents were divorced and I was only living in that cold-ass room every other weekend.
*shrugs*
Anyway, so yeah, I should probably tidy up my desk, hubby and I have to clean our fish tanks, of course I have to pack up my fish, Clyde. I have more crap to get out of here tonight. I have to take two gallons of water from work so I can acclimate Clyde to our well water slowly and so I can acclimate Arthur to the work water so I can bring him in when I get back. It sounds like more of a hassle than it really is though, it’s not that much trouble, just a lot to lug out to the car. We have to stop and pick up cat litter and dog food on the way home. I started packing Sara’s meals yesterday afternoon and realized we didn’t have enough food. Dogs eat too much, Sara eats in 2 weeks what our 5 resident adult cats eat in an entire month, if not a little longer!! hehe, anyway, yeah, so about cleaning my desk.
Adios!
