Good Morning. I’m just now getting around to updating because I’ve been trip planning all morning. 🙂 Our trip to Tulsa is all planned out, now we just have to figure out the way back. We never plan this much, usually we just set out and go. Since we’re travelling with Sara though we’ve got to make sure we find a dog-friendly hotel everywhere we go. I’m not 100% sure we’ll have my step-sisters cat for the drive back. Her mom is supposed to be going to Maine in November, so I’m suggesting her mom take the cat on the plane instead of us taking it on the road. We really don’t have much room in our little Hyundai and I have to bring back a bunch of stuff from my mom’s that she’s going to throw out if I don’t. The good thing is, my dad is a little nicer about storing things than my mom is, so anything I can’t fit into the car that’s at my moms house I’ll just give to dad to store for me. I might UPS some of it to myself too, depending on whether or not I think it’ll ever fit into our car. 🙂 I’ll get all my shit to Connecticut eventually.

We got our mattress picked up Saturday night. That sucked, let me tell you. We got lost. The guy gave us crappy directions, that and his neighborhood is confusing as all hell. You wouldn’t think there would be a huge apartment complex down the unlit, narrow, country-looking road. We got to his place around 8:30pm. We ended up not getting home until around 10:30pm, we had to return the truck after that. We got to bed around 11:45pm and there was no way in hell we were moving the bed upstairs at that time. We moved the bed upstairs yesterday evening. Thing is, you can’t fit a queen sized box spring up the stairs. The mattress will fit b/c it bends somewhat but the box spring, no way. We had to take the railing off the balcony and heave it up to the second floor. I heaved from the 1st floor and hubby pulled from the 2nd. We also got our old mattress and box spring down this way. Our house kind of sucks in that the doorways are smaller and shorter than normal and the hallways are really narrow. The ceilings are also lower. It’s an old homestead and when hubbys dad rebuilt it he kept it mostly original. We’d be better off putting two twin beds together or something, that’s probably what we’ll do next time we replace our mattress. The new mattress is sooo much cozier. Our peice of shit had nothing between you and the springs. This one does. It’s nearly twice as thick.

Well anyway, I only have 10 mins until a meeting so I better go. More later.
