We’ve reached another milestone with the kittens. It’s gotten impossible to keep them contained in one room and still have it so Sophie can come and go as she pleases. When we go home tonight the barrier keeping them from the rest of the house is coming down and the kittens will be free to explore. For now we’ve raised the barrier a little. Kitten One kept getting out. I went back upstairs to check to make sure he was still in the room before we left and sure enough there was kitten one in the hallway. He was checking out the waterer in the hallway. Hubby raised the barrier a bit and we went to work. As of this evening they’ll have the run of the house. Also, they started trying solid food last night! But they’ll only eat it off our fingers, they’re not interested in eating out of the plate. It’s a start though. They seemed to like it, later that evening they were nibbling our fingers like they wanted more.

I got an e-mail from my mom last night. She’s all excited about us coming to visit. She was saying she had some stuff for us and had gotten something made for us at the Tulsa Fair. Last time we visited she gave me a bunch of my childhood pictures, a scrapbook, and everything I needed to make the scrapbook. That was fun for awhile. She was telling me how I could add pages to the book and continue the scrapbook. I haven’t stuck with it though, it’s a really time consuming hobby and the materials are expensive.

I should probably e-mail my dad again. Since I’m bringing my step-sisters cat back with us I told my dad to make sure she’s up to date on her shots. He said he would but my dad is very forgetful so I should probably remind him. At least there are plenty of clinics around Tulsa so if it isn’t done when I get there it won’t be hard to get it done. I’m pretty sure the clinic I took Casper to when I lived there even allowed walk-ins.

Anyway, I shouldn’t type for too long, believe it or not, I have a ton of work to get done today!

Later. 🙂

So, how many cats will you have altogether? LOL! You’re as bad about cats as I am about greyhounds! Except I definitely don’t have as many greyhounds as you have cats. I’m working on it, though!
