9/30/03

Ok, OD seriously pissed me off earlier, I lost a really long entry, which I’m not going to bother to try to re-type. It happened when I got timed out. I just checked the DM’s diary and he was working on that “feature” this morning though so maybe that’s why. I’m really happy he was working on it because what he did fixed something that was annoying the living crap out of me. 🙂 Lets just hope I don’t lose anymore entries. There’s nothing more frustrating than losing an entire entry! I need to remember to copy to clipboard before hitting save.

I think I’m sick. I feel icky all over, my nose is stuffy and my throat is sore. Hopefully it’s just a little cold and not the icky bug that seems to be going around the office.

Working in Hartford sucks. There’s like nothing to eat here. At least nothing cheap enough to eat often. The cheap stuff is either crap or we’re too well known. One little pasta place we used to go, the guy got to know us really well and started getting annoying. Eventually he started trying to sell us Avon and started talking about God, and he even made sexist comments that offended me and I’m not easily offended. The cafeteria in our office just sucks. They’re all hung up on like gourmet food. The bread is dry and often moldy because they buy from a company out of state and it has to be shipped. By the time it gets here it’s old, but oh my god, comment on the bread and they’ll tell you all about how it’s special gourmet bread from somewhere in NY. O-kay, that’s nice and all but IT’S MOLDY!!! They’re way too hung up on offering specialized gourmet food, most of it is stuff I won’t touch. If it is something I would normally like you can almost guarantee they’ll be something weird added to it to make it “gourmet”. God forbid they just serve NORMAL food down there. Jeez. I don’t really like bringing my lunch either because for one, I don’t like sandwiches all that much and for two there’s no microwave in the cafeteria. I also can’t eat at my desk because then everyone stops over wanting to know what I’m fucking eating. Oh my god, what is that, yummmmm!!! By the time you get left alone to eat, it’s cold again. *sigh* 🙂

Anyway, I didn’t mean for this to turn into a food rant. lol We were trying to figure out where to go for lunch though. We’ve settled on Taco Bell, now off I go. 🙂
